Resources for Military Families

NACCRRA is working with DoD to help those who serve in the military find and afford child care that suits their unique needs. Through several innovative civilian/military efforts among DoD, NACCRRA & Child Care Resource & Referral agencies, we are building the quality and capacity of child care throughout the country.  NACCRRA and the Department of Defense (DOD) have partnered to provide families of severely injured military members with assistance to find and pay for safe, licensed child care services for a period of six months during their period of recuperation.  For more information, visit http://www.naccrra.org/MilitaryPrograms/injured.php

Operation Child Care is a joint initiative between the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) providing National Guard, Reserve and Active Duty military families returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom for two weeks of R&R with a minimum of four hours of free child care.
