Staff-to-Child Ratios

 

In Center-Based Care the staff-to-child ratios are

1:4 (birth to 2 years); 1:8 (2-year-olds); 1:10 (3-year-olds)

These ratios apply to Group Day Care Homes as well. In mixed age groups of children two years and older, the staff to child ratios are 1:10 (with no children under 2) or 1:8 (with no more than 4 two-year-olds)
